Smiling again

I am a firm believer in the Universe looking out for us, the good old ask the Universe scenario thingy. Well yesterday the Universe gave up the goods! Maybe as a due reward for the crap-ola time I've had this week.

All I need would be some craft, a pot of tea and a book.  

Today is a crap day for me, I am feeling unwell 

and a little buried in life's not so great bits. 

I am pretty good at being mostly chipper but not so much 

today. 

           Oh well...there's always tomorrow. 

But for now there's Neko Case, cuddles from the kitties, writing 

and looking at Make hey while the sun shines.

Also number 3 painted my toe nails sunshine yellow - that helped

Birthday Boy of mine

Today my boy is turning 15. Wow the time goes by so quickly. 
I am so proud of the gentle and beautiful natured young man he has become. He is sharing his special day by Motorbike riding with his mates. Enjoy your special day sweetheart and relish in being 15, it really is a great time in your life.

My Friday

This is how I filled my Friday

I folded up the freshly washed aprons found on my recent road trip. So many pretty florals....

                       I drank some tea while reading my emails

             I picked some flowers to put on the dining table

               I wore my painting clothes even though I didn't paint!
                                    it was too windy outside to get started

                 I made a new jewellery board using a pin board, glue, old
       rulers and tacks
