I'd hammer out love between my brothers and my sisters,
All over this land.
Ahhh The sweet folkie lyrics of Peter, Paul and Mary. I do have a hammer, and a saw and a ladder and they are helping me get some cracking work done on Clementine the Caravan. The lovely M has been so helpful and provides comic relief! Yep there's Cider too, it helps with perspective in the late afternoon..now where's that Hammer....
Hi there, I've not been here in a little while. That's because my eyes were all puffed up which gave me the not so fortunate facial features of a frog! I had an allergic reaction to something.....I not so secretly think it's Teenagers!! So I have been hiding away from much of the world, except the brave few that could look at my disfigurement without alighting at great speed from our house. Making some progress on Clementine the Caravan has been keeping me occupied and sane - well sort of.....
A snippet of the week that was. I was happy to visit inspiring BOB Boutique and say hi to the lovely Sonia. Gleaners Inc in Brunswick yielded a beautiful heart necklace -a gift from my love. Ciders at The Union Hotel in Fitzroy. Breakfast at Birdienumnums with a gorgeous little family. A few treasures picked up along the way and of course some street art.
Sunday was a lovely day that made both M and I acutely aware that we have an awesome group of friends. They all stepped up to the plate with us, digging holes, drilling and sweating to assist in moving Clementine to her new home. She will have a roof over her instead of the unsightly green tarp that's insitu now! We had a nice time, lots of laughs and shared a nice meal together.
This weekend is going to be so much fun! We are having a caravan relocation evening. My girl Clementine needs to be moved to a more suitable area in our garden. Making her closer to the shed to provide easier access to restoration tools. I'm gathering my peeps and we are heaving and ho-ing her into position. There will be cider, yummy food and lots of laughs I'm sure. Then the journey really begins to make her beautiful once more.
I am a firm believer in the Universe looking out for us, the good old ask the Universe scenario thingy. Well yesterday the Universe gave up the goods! Maybe as a due reward for the crap-ola time I've had this week.
You my dearests will become soft furnishings for Clementine
This amazing wall hanging medallion makes me happy just looking at it! (dirt and all!!)
This is my beautiful girl Clementine. She has moved into our back garden and I can barely contain my excitement! I can't wait to give her the love she so rightly deserves, a clean, new ply, lots of no more gaps and some soft furnishings that are easy on the eye and I have my very own studio...YAY!!!!
